Today's appointment at the Orthopaedic Center turned into a whirlwind of phone calls, schedule checks and finally a surgery time set for Wednesday at 2:00 pm. Last week's CT scan indicated the need to put the shoulder back in proper alignment with plates and pins. So, he went directly to the hospital for the pre-op paperwork, labwork, and x-ray. Some previous appointments needed re-scheduling, and medications were adjusted according to blood test results. All of that made for a very tiring day, so rest is on the agenda tonight.

Wish I could take a nap for you, but as it is - may your sleep be deep and restful. Happy dreams. A few cat naps tomorrow won't hurt Derek either. We love you.
