Derek has played on the FBC CrossWalk City League softball team for many years, always looking forward to softball season and the Friday night games. After having had to miss most of the games this season, he was glad to have a chance to play once again on Friday. It was good to see him out on the ballfield having fun! After the game, his teammates gathered around to lift him up in prayer, and then - literally - for a team photo. These guys really know how to show support! :)
Thanks, CrossWalk, for the blessings of encouragement that you all are to Derek as he prepares for the second round of chemo next Friday. With God's Teamwork, the only possible outcome is a WIN.
