The DEEZ blog, originally set up to follow Derek's cancer treatments, is now transitioning into a family blog as several people have encouraged me to continue writing. So, for anyone who would be interested, and as a personal outlet for me to share and reflect, the blog will continue. Derek will remain a part of it, of course, as his presence will forever be in my thoughts and heart.
Jamie is continuing her blog as well (see link in column to the right), so the Petersen family will be chronicled from both perspectives as we journey from the devastation of our loss to new blessings and joy with the upcoming arrival of a new little love in our lives. God is good, and we trust Him to lead and comfort us along the way.

Not only a writing and sharing outlet, our blogs are also intended as a forum, so please feel free to participate with a comment now and then. Derek always appreciated seeing them, and we do, too!

After pacing the floor for a month, today I'm finally writing some overdue notes to my siblings and maybe to Lapos. I will enclose programs from Derek's memorial service and again reference the blog and memorial video. -- And, thinking of you with lots of love.
