This is probably the most familiar Irish Blessing, but there are many others and so I thought I'd share a few with you on this St. Patty's Day. With the most recent tragedy in Japan in mind, I'll add a special Dedication of these prayers to our friends in that country. May we all remember to count our blessings, every day!
May God give you...
For every storm, a rainbow,
For every tear, a smile,
For every care, a promise,
And a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends,
A faithful friend to share,
For every sigh, a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer.
